Martial artist, Ronda Rousey mocks domestic abuse record of undefeated champ, Floyd Mayweather

Martial artist threw a big shade the domestic violence record of Floyd Mayweather after beaten him to the 'Best Fighter' award at the ESPYs on Wednesday, July 15.

Rousey who's the UFC's women's bantamweight champion won the pool of the category 'Best Fighter' category ahead of Mayweather and other boxers like Terence Crawford, Gennady Golovkin and fellow mixed martial artist Donald Cerrone.

Mayweather has been severally accused, charged and jail for domestic violence and was sued by his ex-girlfriend for battery in May.

While receiving the award, Rousey said: "I wonder how Floyd feels to be beaten by a woman for once."

"I'd like to see him pretend not to know who I am now," she added in reference to Mayweather claiming not to know who she was in an interview last year.

The 28-year-old actress also won the award for 'Best Female Athlete', beating basketball player Breanna Stewart, skier Lindsey Vonn and Wimbledon champion Serena Williams to the prize.

After winning his May 2 bout against Manny Pacquiao, Mayweather was criticised for his tactics of holding on top bis opponent during the fight.

Pacquiao in a photo is seen standing beside a man with a placard which reads; "someone needs to tell  Mayweather he's supposed to hug his fight  and punch me in the ring, not the other way round."
