Lewis Hamilton gets into top gear as F1 star produces song using sounds of Mercedes car ahead of Singapore Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton has been hitting the high notes in Formula 1 during the past 18 months and the British star has taken his racing talents to the music studios.

A keen musician himself, the Brit has co-produced a track called 'The Soundtrack' which fuses his two passions of driving and music together.


In collaboration with music producer Spinz Beats, and presented by Bose, the 30-year-old's piece of work is inspired by the sounds of his Mercedes F1 car alongside some RnB instrumentals - creating an experimental vibe.

Aside from the sounds of his Mercedes, the reigning F1 world champion's track is accompanied with voiceover dubs from his race mechanics.

'Music is one of the most important things in my life,' Hamilton said in a behind the scenes video of 'The Soundtrack.'
