“Usain Bolt Didn’t Recognise Me When I Met Him” – Tom Cleverley
Speaking ahead of Aston Villa’s FA Cup final with Arsenal, Tom Cleverley revealed that Usain Bolt, a well known supporter of Manchester United, didn’t recognise him when the two met at the 2012 Olympics, as reported by The Telegraph.

Cleverley is on loan at Villa Park from United this season and featured in the FA Cup final, the Villans’ first in 15 years.
It will be the culmination of an up-and-down campaign for the 25-year-old, who endured a tough start under Paul Lambert before the arrival of Tim Sherwood.
Following Sherwood’s appointment back in February, the midfielder, as well as a number of other Villa players, enjoyed a resurgence, hauling the club out of the relegation zone and guiding them to today’s show-piece event at Wembley.

Prior to his spell at Villa, Cleverley spent time with a number of clubs on loan, eventually breaking into the United first-team and earning an England call-up.
He was also called up to the Great Britain squad for London 2012, where he met Red Devils fan Bolt; however unfortunately for the midfielder, the Gold medallist didn’t recognise him.
Cleverley told the Telegraph: “London was brilliant. That was a great experience, another one to tell my grand-kids. There was a carnival atmosphere. There were legends everywhere in the Olympic Village. I bumped into LeBron James and Usain Bolt.
“Bolt’s very outgoing, a United fan. I’ve met him a couple of times at Old Trafford, but he didn’t recognise me!”
The 25-year-old made 31 appearances this term at Villa Park, scoring three goals and creating 26 chances, with an average pass accuracy of 86%.
Villa ended the Premier League campaign in 17th on 38 points, three clear of Hull below them in 18th. Sherwood’s side ended the season with two defeats, including the 6-1 mauling away at Southampton and a home loss to Burnley.
