Tottenham Hotspur to make £10m bid for West Brom’s Saido Berahino in January

Tottenham Hotspur are ready to make a £10m move for West Bromwich Albion’s star striker Saido Berahino in the January transfer market, according to The Telegraph.


The 21-year-old lit up the early weeks of the Premier League season as he raced to seven goals and earned himself a call-up to Roy Hodgson’s senior England team, though he did not make an appearance for the Three Lions. He has hit a bit of a rough patch recently though and has not scored in his last 10 league games, as the Baggies’ form has dipped.

The striker has been rumoured to be leaving the club in January with potential moves to either Liverpool or Spurs, and it seems that the North Londoners are set to make an official move for the Englishman.

It is believed that the Baggies would be willing to sell Berahino for the £10m rumoured and then use that money to sign Burnley striker Danny Ings, who has impressed in his debut season in the Premier League following promotion from the Championship last year.
