Dream Team VI gets yuletide break

 

Coach of the national U-23 team, Samson Siasia has revealed that the camp will be closed to allow players and officials the opportunity to observe some break and enjoy the Christmas and New Year celebration with their loved ones.



Siasia said the break was needed after a very successful camping exercise where he was able to assemble a befitting squad.
“We picked two team and its been wonderful with two captains, they both against each other and we liked the spirit right now and that’s what we want to see in these young ones”
“I think if they go back home, I don’t want them to forget what they’ve already achieved so far and I think it will be good if they come back to camp next year with the same feel so that the foreign based players can be given a good run for their money”
The Dream team VI is preparing for the 2015 All Africa Games’ qualifiers and ultimately, the Brazil summer Olympics coming up in 2016.
