Watford will not allow Emmanuel Adebayor to train with the club but manager Quique Sanchez Flores is not ruling out a January move for the forward.
Adebayor agreed a mutual termination of his contract at Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month but is not able to play for other Premier League clubs until January as he had been registered as a player by Spurs.
Regardless, Watford also do not have any space in their squad for a free agent as they have registered the maximum 25 players for the Premier League.
'You never know, maybe it is possible,' Flores admitted, with regards to a January move.
'My desire is that a lot of big names can play in Watford. If we are working well maybe others will want to join us.'
'It’s difficult. We know Adebayor is an amazing player but two weeks ago we have closed the squad. We can’t move anymore.
We have said to him all the best for the future, you never know what may happen in the future, one day maybe we will train together. But at the moment we can not put new players in the squad.
'The squad is closed, now is the moment to train and focus with the players we have.'
