Anichebe Rejects Bolton Move
Victor Anichebe has turned down a loan move to Championship side, Bolton Wanderers.
The Trotters who are facing an injury crisis due to the absence of Emile Heskey and Zach Clough enquired about the availability of the West Brom striker but were told that the Nigerian wants to stay at the Hawthorns.
Bolton manager Neil Lennon revealed to the Bolton Evening News his failure to land the Nigerian.
"We simply don't have enough options with Emile Heskey and Zach Clough out injured.
"We're trying our hardest to get something sorted out but isn't as easy as you would think sometimes,"he said.
Anichebe has fallen down the pecking order at West Brom following the arrival of Salomon Rondon and Rickie Lambert in the summer and the refusal of the Baggies to sell Saido Berahino.
His compatriot Brown Ideye left for Greek club, Olympiakos, after failing to cement a starting berth with the Baggies following his big money move from Dynamo Kiev in 2014.
