Anderlecht coach, Besnik Hasi, has hinted that Imoh Ezekiel could make his first start of the season when they face Westerlo on Sunday.
Ezekiel, a former 36 Lions and Standard Liege forward is yet to score for Anderlecht in four league games, but Hasi is confident the 21 year old petit forward can break the duck at the Het Kuipje Stadium.
“His goal against Dynamo Kyiv came as a reward for the good performance he showed. It was a well taken goal. Ezekiel should start in Westerlo,”Hasi told dhnet.be.
Ezekiel who is on a season loan deal from Qatari side Al Arabi, scored a stunning left foot strike in the sixth minute to seal his side’s 1-0 win against Dynamo Kyiv in a club friendly on Tuesday.
The former 36 Lions and Standard Liege forward is expected to feature for Anderlecht in this season’s UEFA Europa League competition.
Anderlecht are third on the Belgian Jupilier log with ten points from five games.
