He just lost an award to his long-time rival Lionel Messi but Cristiano Ronaldo seems to have take that off his mind as he grabbed a little sleep on a private flight back to Madrid.
Ronaldo was in Monaco yesterday, Thursday, August 27 where the UEFA Champions League group stage draw was held and where the award for the UEFA Best Player was also given.
Ronaldo came behind Messi and Luis Suarez in the poll for the award.
The expression on his face when Messi was announced as the winner said it all-the Portuguese forward was clearly not happy he lost the award.
Ronaldo however was in a lighter mood when he shared a photo of himself sleeping on his private flight on his way back to Madrid.
Prior to that photo, he posted one of himself in his smart suit on his way to the event.
Ronaldo will get to work straight away for Real Madrid's La Liga game this weekend against Real Betis at home.
Real Madrid would be looking to return to winning ways following their opening goalless draw at Sporting de Gijón.
