The back and forth banter between the boxing champion, Floyd Mayweather and his fellow American, Rounda Rousey, a mixed martial artist and an actress, is getting more interesting by the day.
It all started when Mayweather referred to Rousey as a “he” during an interview a year ago. Since then Rousey has taken shots at Mayweather regarding his domestic violence incidents.
Earlier this month, the flamboyant boxer said of Rounda, “I’ve yet to see any MMA fighter, or other boxer, make over $300 million in 36 minutes. When she can do that, then call me.”
And this is Rounda Rousey’s own salvo:
“I actually did the math and given the numbers of my last fight, I’m actually the highest-paid UFC fighter and I’m a woman. I think I actually make two or three times more than he does per second. So, when he learns to read and write, he can text me.”
Ouch!
Floyd is expected to answer this one, but then he might let it go.
