Formula One To Take Three-Month Break Come 2016

This is new in the world of racing. Formula One is set to take a three-month break before kicking off the 2016 season.


This decision was reached by the teams, and this means the season starts March. Though no date has been set in stone yet, the first test is scheduled for the first of May after the Abu Dhabi GP in November.

The Abu Dhabi GP ends the 2015 season of the Formula One and is set for November.

In contrast to previous years, there will also be just two four-day tests – which will both be staged at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya – held across the whole of 2016.
