Leicester manager Nigel Pearson has been charged by the Football Association after his heated touchline row with a fan.
It is alleged the Foxes boss used abusive and/or insulting words towards a spectator during last week's 3-1 defeat to Liverpool at the King Power Stadium.
The FA had written to Pearson to ask for his observations about the argument and have now acted.
Pearson had refused to apologise to the fan despite a video emerging of the incident and calls from the Leicester City Supporters Club to apologise.
On the pitch, Leicester were hit with the news that highly-rated goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel will be out of action for a month after breaking his foot during training.
