Former England international and ITV soccer pundit Ian Wright, who is understood to have flown home from Brazil after his wife and children were burgled at knifepoint in London

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has called for there to be a sacking at the club over the failure to sign Cesc Fabregas and has also attacked what he calls some of the “prize w*****’s” supporting his club.

Wright’s outspoken comments appeared Thursday afternoon on his Twitter account and, although he later said “I've had a few”, he also added that “many a true word spoken in drunken tongue!”
His initial message concerned the failure to sign Fabregas despite Arsenal having first refusal on buying him back from Barcelona. “For the record the mere fact that Fabregas is at Chelsea when we had first option, don't care who but someone should be sacked,” he said.
Fabregas has been a huge success at Chelsea and Wright’s remarks clearly provoked plenty of reaction. He then later added: “So disappointed with the amount of “prize w*****’s” who are supporting the club I love. Wish I could meet them individually. Would be carnage!”
