Nigeria midfielder John Ogu has hailed his team’s 3-0 away win against Beitar Jerusalem on Monday in the Israeli Ligat Haal.
Reacting to the win, Ogu praised team-mate Maor Buzaglo’s goal, calling him the Beckham of Israel.
He wrote on his twitter page: “Great game and victory last night (Monday)..Yalla Hapoel..congrats to my mate @MaorBuzaglo11 #CRACK ..Israel Beckham”
Ogu was on from start to finish in the win and has appeared 14 times for Hapoel Beer Sheva this term, scoring just once so far.
Hapoel are on third position, four adrift of leaders Ironi Kiryat and will take on Hapoel Petah Tikva at home on Saturday.
